Stump removal or stump grinding can be carried out by the tree surgeon up to depths of around 12″ below ground level. Whether it’s a recently felled tree, or an old unsightly decaying stump we can turn this into a great composting material (mulch) for your pots/beds. We only require access as little as 700mm wide for the necessary machinery.
Some species of tree will regenerate from a stump once a tree is felled and can be poisoned as a more cost effective option to stump grinding. Eco Plugs are an environmentally friendly way of poisoning tree stumps. The plugs are inserted into the tree containing shots of Glyphosate which is released inside the stump out of harms way to pets, wildlife and neighbouring plants & trees.
