Hedges make great natural boundaries and if not maintained can grow too tall, taking up sunlight or interfering with overhead cables etc. Hedges over 2M in height can be deemed too tall by the council and you can be asked to take control of your hedgerow if it is reported for any reason. Info can be found on the Royal Horticulture Societies website by clicking here.
If the sides are left also they can start to look untidy and protrude over boundaries, the tree surgeon can regain control leaving them more aesthetically pleasing. We also offer regular hedge maintenance/trimming. To obtain the healthiest hedge it is recommended that most species are trimmed twice a year.
